Our Veterinarians
Our three experienced veterinarians, Dr. Gheorghe, Dr. Jody, and Dr. Jismol, have over 60 years of combined experience in the field. While they are not board certified specialists, they all have a keen interest in different fields of medicine. Dr. Jody has completed many hours of continuing education for cardiology, non-diagnostic ultrasound and internal medicine. Dr. Gheorghe has trained with specialists in performing advanced orthopedic and orthodontic procedures. He has also completed his CCRV, which makes him a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Veterinarian (as well as opening a physiotherapy clinic in the near future). Dr. Jismol has a special interest in reproduction, dermatology, small animal internal medicine, and exotics medicine. Together they have the knowledge and facility to help your pet with all of their needs. Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate care and knowledgeable service to all of our furry patients, which is why we are always looking for more ways to expand our expertise!
Our Registered Veterinary Technicians
At Heartland Vet clinic, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care for your furry family members. Our knowledgeable and well-educated veterinary technicians work alongside our experienced veterinarians to ensure your pet receives the best possible treatment. Not only are they well-educated and experienced with anesthetic monitoring, performing radiographs and phlebotomy, but they have also gone through the training to complete routine annual physical exam and vaccinations. Implementing RVT exams allows our veterinarians to see more sick patients in a day and have more time with each pet. And with RVT exams, you get to meet more of our wonderful team!
Our Veterinary Assistants and Receptionists
At our clinic, veterinary assistants and our receptionists play a crucial role in providing the foundation for exceptional care. Although you may not always hear or see them, the assistants are always hard at work. From providing support in surgeries to managing appointments our veterinary assistants are an integral part of our team. Our receptionist is the first friendly face you will see when you step into the clinic, and the warm voice on the phone when you call. The team is always eager to learn and go the extra mile for our patients.
