Marshal Salat, Veterinary Assistant
As a Veterinary Assistant, Marshal loves working with pets of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. His favorite part of the job? Ensuring that every case is treated with the utmost care and thoroughness—because every pet deserves top-notch attention!

Marshal’s passion for animals started early, back when he was 8 years old and had three black Labs. He would often tag along with his father, a farrier at the time, which only fueled his fascination with animal care. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from the University of Calgary in 2019, he decided to pursue his true calling in veterinary medicine.
At home, Marshal is ruled by his two mischievous cats, Deku and Raven. Deku, a gray medium-hair troublemaker, enjoys bird-watching from the patio and sneaking cheese whenever possible. Raven, a sleek black short-hair, is an expert counter-climber who loves exploring the outdoors on her leash—when the weather cooperates, of course!
When he's not at the clinic, Marshal stays active by hitting the gym, playing sports, and gaming with friends. A die-hard Colorado Avalanche fan, he never misses a hockey game. In the summer, you’ll find him camping and fishing in BC’s Kootenay region, soaking up the great outdoors.
