Sedona joined the Heartland team in October 2021. She attended Olds College and received her diploma in Animal Health Technology in September of 2021. She was born and raised in Calgary, but has made the move to Airdrie in early 2023. Her absolute favorite thing about veterinary medicine is the relationships that are built with owners and their pets, and hearing about all the goofy things pets do at home! On the medical side, her favorite aspect is nutrition. She loves creating tailored nutrition plans for patients who have weight loss goals, dietary restrictions or needs, or are growing puppies or kittens! 
 

At home she has two cats, Raven and Deku. They are known around the clinic for their antics and Sedona always has a new story for how they've gotten themselves into mischief around the house (as pictured above!). She also has a betta fish named Newt and a snail named Pekoe. 

In her free time, you can find her reading a good book (or scouring the Indigo shelves for a new one), baking, playing videogames, or playing soccer. In the summer she frequently visits B.C and Kananaskis to go hiking and camping with friends and family.
